MBBS · MD (Anaes) · FNB (Critical Care Medicine) · EDIC (London) · PGCDM · PHFI · SCOPE · CCIDC
Background
Dr. Utkarsh Shah completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College, followed by his MD from Tata Memorial Centre — one of India's foremost cancer research institutions. He then pursued a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (FNB) at Bombay Hospital and earned the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC) from London, adding an international dimension to his training.
He worked extensively and dedicatedly for three years in the Department of Critical Care at Bombay Hospital, managing critically ill medical and surgical patients day in and day out. This hands-on experience across thousands of complex cases shaped his clinical instincts.
He later established his practice at Arihant Hospital in Nagpur — a 137-bed multispeciality facility where he leads the intensive care unit. He also holds additional certifications in Diabetes Management (PGCDM and PHFI), Metabolic & Obesity Management (SCOPE), and Infectious Disease (CCIDC), allowing him to take a comprehensive approach to patient care that goes beyond acute critical intervention.
